History
Growing up, owner Jeff Wang loved eating at his parent's restaurant. Once he moved to Chicago, there just was nothing like it. The dynamic flavors that combine Chinese, Korean, and Thai flavors without all the grease was something that he missed and wanted to replicate with MAK.

Neighborhood Chinese cuisine with Korean and Thai influences offering quick, casual meals. Focused on a healthier version for your every day Chinese take out. Our meats are raised naturally, free of antibiotics, hormones, and steroids, while our produce and other goods are bought locally whenever possible. We don't use MSG. Our chicken, other than the wings, is all white meat and our beef is grass fed. We take great pride in offering fresh, flavorful food based on recipes handed down from generations, but now refined, in a clean and sustainable environment.
