The mission of Homestead Corporation is to assure an adequate supply of good quality, affordable housing for all people with inadequate resources. Incorporated in 1993, Homestead Corporation is one of two Community Housing Development Organizations in Champaign County, Illinois. We work to provide affordable housing and supportive services for low- and moderate-income residents of the area. Providing What Citizens Need Housing needs are as different as people are. Homestead Corporation, we are proud to provide housing to all, from single residents to families. We offer housing to anyone, regardless of age, race, creed, disability, or any other protected status. Certified as a Community Housing Development Organization in 1996, we have a proven record of success. Homestead Corporation has provided dozens of families and single residents with reasonably priced, well-maintained housing. We continue to place a great emphasis on working with neighborhood groups to make sure local residents' concerns are heard and respected. We look forward to meeting the Champaign-Urbana area's need for affordable housing for our community's low- and moderate-income residents.
