Lord's Park Pavilion

The Elgin Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains parks and recreational facilities throughout Elgin, Ill. The department operates more than 50 parks that include picnic shelters, trails, and athletic fields and courts. Its facilities also include The Centre of Elgin, which is a multipurpose recreational facility that is home to a majority of the department's programs and activities. In addition to building, maintaining and operating these facilities, the Elgin Parks and Recreation Department sponsors instructional classes, special activities and programs, athletics, workshops and clinics, trips, social activities, community meetings and much more for children and adults.
