Founded in 1985 in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) has evolved from a seasonal overnight shelter to a year-round operation housing 120 individuals experiencing homelessness each night. Their mission is to bring communities together to empower individuals facing homelessness and poverty to secure stable housing and make sustainable life changes.
LPCS operates interim housing facilities and affordable housing units in Lincoln Park and Old Town neighborhoods, as well as providing permanent supportive housing across the city. Partnering with local churches and community members, LPCS continues to offer inclusive, client-centered services in a safe and motivating environment to support their neighbors in need.
