History
I came to the United States in 2004, and began teaching Spanish in 2005 at a small language academy. In 2008, I joined Instituto Cervantes of Chicago where I taught all levels of Spanish, as well as special courses such as: Spanish-English Comparative Grammar, Magical Realism and Daily Life in Latin America, The Nobel Prizes of Literature in Spanish, Literature in Movies, Painting and Society in Latin America during the Twentieth Century, and Latin American Current Politics. From 2010 through 2013, I taught Spanish levels 1-4 at Loyola University of Chicago. I love everything about what I do, but most of all I love building bridges between people and communities--new languages do this. Are you interested in joining the millions of people who speak Spanish all over the world?
