Larsen Middle School

Larsen Middle School is operated by Illinois School District U-46, which serves more than 40,000 children through over 40 elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides educational services to more than 650 students in grades seven and eight. It conducts classes in English, math, science, social studies, computer applications, industrial arts and home economics. It provides advanced educational programs for gifted and talented students. Larsen Middle School offers the English Language Learners and English as a Second Language programs. The school also operates a band, choir and orchestra. It offers student activities related to art, music, drama, and health and physical education. In addition, the school supports a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, football and basketball. It operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities and special events. The school also provides meals, guidance counseling and health care.
