Lake Park High School

Lake Park High School, founded in 1956, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with the Lake Park Community High School District and has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as fine arts, business and computer education, English, family and consumer sciences, foreign languages, mathematics, science and social studies. It also provides courses in industrial technology, and physical education, health and drivers education. The school provides special lessons in instrumental and vocal music, and offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as jazz and marching bands, theater productions, scholastic bowl, yearbook, newspaper, debate and speech teams, and earth and science clubs. The sports activities offered by the school include cross country, golf, swimming and diving, tennis, volleyball, basketball, bowling, gymnastics, track and field, badminton, soccer, softball and cheerleading. Lake Park High School has west and east campuses located in Roselle, Ill.
