The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Lake Chaminwood Preserve provides a picnic shelter and access to 0.69 mile of paved trail and two lakes for shoreline fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and boating. Fishing boats can be used if they can be brought into the preserve without a trailer.
