Kris Alden, MD, PhD

Dr. Alex Tauchen is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery from the renowned Anderson Orthopedic Research Institute. A graduate of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, he specializes in managing hip and knee arthritis, prioritizing non-operative treatments first. When surgery is needed, he ensures patients fully understand their condition, options, and recovery process. Dr. Tauchen is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care from consultation through recovery. In his free time, he enjoys hockey, cycling, golf, and time with his family.

Dr. Giridhar Burra is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute under Dr. James R. Andrews. Among the first in the Chicago area to earn sports medicine board certification, he specializes in arthroscopic surgery and complex injuries of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. Dr. Burra has treated athletes from professional teams including the White Sox, Jets, Rangers, and Islanders, and serves as team physician for several schools and the Joliet Slammers. He is also an accomplished researcher, lecturer, and international educator in sports injury management and prevention.
