Kirk Eye Center has a secondary, state-of-the-art facility located just north of Chicago in Gurnee, IL. The practice has been in business in the Chicago area for more than 50 years and includes a team of board-certified ocular surgeons and specialists, including Kent Kirk, MD, Scott Kirk, MD, Carter Kirk, MD, Tyler Kirk, MD, Walter Fried, MD, and optometrist Dean Bauer, OD. They specialize in many eye care services and procedures, including routine eye exams, cataract surgery with premium lens options like Symfony, Multifocal, or Toric, glaucoma treatments, LASIK, PRK, implantable contact lenses by Visian, refractive lens exchange, cornea transplant surgery, and BOTOX. The professional and caring staff strive to provide a high quality of patient-focused care in a relaxed environment as they help patients achieve improved vision. The Gurnee office is the former private practice of Dr. Fried who became part of the Kirk Eye Center team with the acquisition of his practice in 2017.
