History

Kesler, Garman, Brougher & Townsley, P.C. was formed in September 2003 with the merger of the firms of Gunn & Hickman and Sebat, Swanson, Banks, Garman & Townsley. Both the Gunn and Sebat firms were well established, old line firms in Danville, serving the Central Illinois area, and had been in existence since the 1890's. Numerous members of each firm had gone on to serve in the judiciary, including two former law firm members on the Illinois Supreme Court, one former member serving as United States Bankruptcy Judge, and a number of former members serving as state trial court Judges. The law firm represents clients with wide ranging legal issues throughout East Central Illinois.
