Kenny S. Yoo, MD | Radiation Oncologist

As an Interventional Radiologist at the Chicago hospital, Dr. Tami Carrillo uses imaging to guide the diagnosis and treatment of cancer with minimally invasive techniques. She works closely with patients to offer a wide range of treatment options to address the patient’s cancer and personal needs. By using minimally invasive and innovative techniques, Dr. Carrillo helps to reduce risk and improve quality of life for patients. In addition, she uses recent advances in interventional radiology, including irreversible electroporation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, cryoablation, radiofrequency ablation and vertebroplasty, to help reduce postoperative pain and improve recovery.

Barbara Buttin, M.D. is a gynecologic oncologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Chicago (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]). She is dedicated to caring for patients with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and vulvar. Patient-focused care is an integral part of improving health outcomes, that's why Dr. Buttin centers her treatment on the individualized needs of the whole patient. She treats all gynecologic cancers using numerous therapies, including chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Dr. Buttin also incorporates evidence-informed supportive therapies to help combat cancer-related side effects.

Karen Smorowski, MD, is a Radiation Oncologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Chicago. Dr. Smorowski earned her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. She is accepting new patients.
