History

The Karmel Law Firm was founded more than 50 years ago in Chicago, Illinois, by Robert Karmel, a veteran of World War II. The firm was established to protect the rights of employees and provide sound legal guidance for unions. Robert Karmel passionately believed in the importance of representing unions and workers. Today, managing attorney Jon Karmel continues this legacy, maintaining an exclusive focus on employment and labor law from our offices in Chicago and near Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our firm's second generation of advocates provide dedicated representation for workers and unions in diverse industries nationwide.
