History

JustGoods was formed by a group from Rockford Urban Ministries, a Methodist Church based ministry also supported by various other local churches, who believe marginalized communities deserve a helping hand to end their poverty. The store was created when an opportunity to purchase a building in a marginalized neighborhood in Rockford, Illinois was available. One of the goals of Rockford Urban Ministries and JustGoods was to help revitalize the Midtown District of Rockford.

Specialties

JustGoods is a not-for-profit fair trade store selling handmade gifts and fairly traded food from over 20 countries around the world. Fair trade ensures farmers and artisans from poor communities are paid a fair living wage for what they produce. By giving them an opportunity to sell their goods, they can help their families take steps to end their poverty.

This restored old building has some of the best jewelry and gift items. It is a nonprofit and its prices can't be beat. A fun place to visit.
