Junior Achievement of Chicago

Established in 1940, Junior Achievement of Chicago is one of the world s largest nonprofit economics education organizations. It serves approximately 340,000 students annually. The organization undertakes programs for students of K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy. In addition, it undertakes various other programs that include elementary school, middle grades and high school programs. It also offers various success skills assessment scoring and global education programs. The organization operates a speakers' bureau that provides access to expert speakers for speeches, discussions, training and seminars. It organizes various events, such as A Day at the Races, Bowl-A-Thon, Business Hall of Fame and golf outings.
