Julia Stepina, MD - AMITA Health Behavioral Health

Julia Stepina is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating children, adolescents and adults. Julia's areas of experience include anxiety, depression, parenting skills, low self-esteem, life transitions and/or severe stress. She uses an eclectic approach in psychotherapy but primarily practices from a cognitive behavioral framework. She maintains a safe and inviting environment to allow clients to work collaboratively to identify problematic beliefs causing maladaptive behaviors. Julia also integrates play therapy and a strengths-based approach to facilitate individual self expression and provide a sense of hope to her clients which encourages positive growth and change.
