The Jewish Council for Youth Services is an independent and nonprofit agency that offers a variety of educational and recreational programs. The agency offers early childhood education programs, which includes full- and part-day pre-school and kindergarten enrichment classes. Its family centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The agency offers a variety of classroom activities, including teamwork and leadership development, communication and active listening, problem solving, and creativity and critical thinking. In addition, it offers a variety of sports and recreation activities, including baseball, basketball, tennis, football and soccer. The Jewish Council for Youth Services has been operational for more than 100 years and maintains a location in Buffalo Grove, Ill.
