Intraspectrum Counseling

SpecialtiesI specialize in working with men, especially those who identify as gay, bi or queer. Common issues I work with clients on include relationship/intimacy struggles, isolation, depression, shame, career issues, anger/rage, anxiety, sexual issues, feelings of numbness and addiction. As a gay man, I can assure you a level of comfort and understanding as well as specialized training when dealing with these issues. In addition, I am sex positive and attuned to the needs of poly, non-monogamous, kink and BDSM clients. I believe that men can especially benefit from therapy as they often don't have much comfort or experience with expressing their thoughts, feelings and emotions. I feel passionately about helping to provide a safe space for my clients to explore who they are and who they want to be. I work to create an open, honest and non-judgmental space that promotes self-compassion and awareness. Over the course of our work together, we will reinforce your current strengths and challenge the negative voice in your head that acts as a barrier to acceptance and growth in your life.
