The organization focuses on research, treatment breakthroughs, and community support to improve the lives of those living with this condition. With a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, FD Now collaborates with leading researchers, such as Dr. Berish Rubin and Dr. Sylvia Anderson from Fordham University, to discover safe treatments and enhance the quality of life for patients. The agency maintains homes throughout the area, but also serves a number of adults who rent from local landlords. Adults with disabilities who choose social and recreational activities during the day participate in the programs offered through the community services department. Exercise, arts and crafts, special events, social interaction groups, current events discussions, and day trips are available in this adult day activity program.
