It provides a variety of residential and day services, including more than 15 community integrated living arrangements, where up to eight people live in a home and have the staff support they need, available 24-hours, seven-days a week. The institution also offers an intermittent support program, where people live with roommates or family members, and staff support is available, based on each person s needs. Its trained workers provide respite to families who have a person with disabilities living with them at home. Horizon House of Illinois Valley also provides assistance in building job skills and interview preparation for people with disabilities.
