Established in 1974 and located in Springfield, Ill., Community Bankers Association of Illinois represents more than 500 financial institutions and over 130 associate members in the state. The association offers money-saving opportunities for its members, and provides various educational seminars and programs. Community Bankers Association professionally lobbies for Illinois community bankers. It employs professional lobbyists and legal counsels specializing in banking law, and advocates the cause of community banking in Springfield and Washington, D.C. Its services include market analysis and branch planning, check printing, debt collection, credit and debit card services, disaster recovery, and executive compensation consulting. The association also offers investment portfolio management, loan audit review, market opinion research, overdraft privilege, and wealth management services.

Founded in 1980, GROWMARK is a locally owned agricultural cooperative system. It offers a range of agriculture products and services throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and the northeastern United States, as well as Canada. The cooperative provides plant food products, chemicals, fertilizers and vegetable seeds. GROWMARK offers power fuels, grain systems, and renewable lubricants and greases. It operates a wholly owned subsidiary, GROWMARK FS, which provides wholesale and retail agronomy solutions in the eastern United States. Seedway maintains a subsidiary, Seedway, which is a turf seed marketing company. The cooperative operates AgriVisor, which offers grain and livestock marketing analysis solutions. In addition, GROWMARK provides home heating products and building and grain systems.
