Huntley Middle School

Huntley Middle School, located in De Kalb, Ill., is part of the De Kalb Community Unit School District 428. It offers a curriculum for students in grades six through eight and has an enrollment of more than 700 students. The subjects offered include English, literature, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, social studies, mathematics, algebra, calculus, and health and physical education. In addition it offers fine arts, music, computer application, industrial arts and foreign language. The school provides a variety of facilities that include art and music rooms, computer laboratory, library and media center and cafeteria. Its clubs and organizations include art, drama, green and study club, choir, forensics, gamers guild, scholastic bowl and student council. The middle school also has a parent-teacher association that helps in fundraising. Huntley Middle School offers various sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, badminton, wrestling, bowling, swimming, and track and field.
