Hudson Police Department
The Hudson Police Department proudly serves both the Village of Hudson and the Town of Towanda, providing critical support to neighboring communities as well as serving as backup for the state police. Comprised of eight sworn officers, the department plays a vital role in the overall Emergency Management System, working in coordination with the Hudson Township Fire Department.
In addition to emergency response, the Hudson Police Department is committed to community awareness and prevention programs, educating residents on how to avoid, detect, and report emergencies. Together with the McLean County Emergency Management Agency and the Hudson Community Fire Protection District, they ensure a comprehensive approach to public safety and emergency preparedness.
