Huck's Food Store
Huck's Food Store, part of Martin Bayley Inc., has a rich history that began in 1960 with the opening of Big John supermarkets in small Southern Illinois towns. Since launching their first convenience store in Grayville, IL in 1974, Huck's has expanded to operate over 130 locations across Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee, employing over 2,500 people.
In 2001, the ownership of the company transitioned to its employees, fostering a sense of commitment and pride within the workforce. Additionally, Huck's established the Karing for Kids Charitable Fund in 2005 to support underprivileged children, providing assistance not only during the holiday season but throughout the year.
