Holy Angels School

Established in 1887 under the direction of the Sisters of Mercy, Holy Angels Catholic School offers religious and academic education to students in kindergarten through 8th grade. It supports an active sports program and provides faith-based education to students. The school has an annual enrollment of 1,260 students. Mercy, Holy Angels Catholic School is one of the largest African-American Catholic schools in the United States. Located in Chicago, it conducts classes in English, art, math, science, social studies, reading, art and music. Holy Angels Catholic School is owned and operated by Holy Angels Church, which is a multicultural, Catholic, Christian community that works to develop, renew and sustain spirituality.
