Community Workshop & Training Center, also known as CWTC, provides programs and services to adults with disabilities. It specializes in organizational employment, community employment placement and community living services. Founded in 1960, the center serves more than 850 people annually and employs over 150 staff members. It is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is located in Peoria, Ill. The center s community employment program offers job coaching and work placement counseling services. Its community living program offers case management, health care and professional consultation services. The center also provides psychosocial rehabilitation services for chronically and persistently mentally ill people.
