Founded in 1979 by Wanda Zachary, Hair Professionals Career College began as a small beauty school in Oswego, Illinois with a class of just 100 students. Prior to opening the school, Zachary spent much of her time in the beauty industry training new stylists. When she realized the need for more than just on-the-job training, she decided to put her expertise as a professional and as an educator into practice.
