The Dance Factory, celebrating 35 years in business, began in the fall of 1989 as the South Bay Sunray Stars. After a successful residency in Lomita and a 13-year stay in Rancho Palos Verdes, the studio moved in September 2020 to join forces with the San Pedro Ballet School, creating a unique opportunity for dancers in one location. Throughout its history, The Dance Factory has trained dancers who have gone on to earn college dance scholarships, tour with professional dance companies, and become professional sports cheerleaders.
