Gus Giordano, the "Godfather of Jazz Dance", and his wife Peg Giordano opened Giordano Dance School in 1953. Gus always had a dream to open his School in the city of Chicago, as he felt he could reach more students in this wonderful city. In June of 2011, Amy Giordano accomplished his dream and opened Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago. Amy continues Gus and Peg’s mission of exposing people age 2 to 82 to dance just as Gus and Peg did with the thousands they touched in their lives.
