Global Handmade Hope

History

Global Handmade Hope opened its doors in 2009 after owner Cynthia Glensgard visited Rwanda with the mission group. Global Handmade Hope offers artisans around the world, including social enterprises in the US and local artists, an opportunity to sell their fairly produced food, decor items, accessories and gifts. With the wages earned from their products, these farmers, artisans and producers can feed their families and help sustain their communities.

Global Handmade Hope is a wholesale & online retail company. We carry beautiful, sustainably-produced items from around the world, including accessories, home decor items and kids' toys. Fair Trade is a social and economic system of development that indicates producers are being paid a living wage, are organized democratically, have gender equality and that the environment is protected.
