Dr Walker believes in assisting patients to achieve their best health possible for their current stage of life. She focuses on empowering her patients to ask questions and take responsibility for their own health. Whether it is by encouraging them to find ways to exercise and eat better or explaining what a specialist has recommended, she expects to be part of a patient's health care team and work with the patient to help achieve their goals.

I have been honored to serve patients in the Western Suburbs since 2001 when I entered residency training at Lagrange Memorial Hospital. After graduation I joined a wonderful group doctors who are also Lagrange Residency Alumni. We have been practicing together since 2004. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine and truly love caring for my patients. I have a special interest in Newborn Care, Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine and Wellness. Many of my patient's visits are also for Women's Health, Gynecological Procedures and Sports Medicine. I have also enjoyed teaching at Amita Lagrange Residency Program since 2004. Recently, I have been excited to participate on the Amita Medical Group's Immunization Committee. When I'm not seeing patients, I am enjoying time with my husband and two young boys.
