Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 by founder Dr. Keith Schroeder, Orthopedic Surgeon. His philosophy, which remains today, is to treat patients as you would want to be treated. It all begins with listening to our patients and taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation in order to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists offers additional in-house services which includes a Rehabilitation Department at all locations offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations and fitness enhancement programs. Our Schaumburg location offers an Immediate Orthopedic Care, Ambulatory Surgery Center and MRI services.

Dr. Narendra Patel is a Board-Certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgeon. He specializes in foot, ankle, and lower leg deformity and fracture correction, total ankle replacement, Charcot reconstruction, achilles repair and reconstruction, sports injuries and nerve repair. As a dedicated podiatric surgeon, Dr. Patel focuses on restoring his patients to their optimal functional ability as quickly as possible. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Patel enjoys photography, traveling abroad, and electronic dance music. Dr. Patel enjoys going on humanitarian mission trips.

Dr. Raymond T. O’Hara is a Board-Certified podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, nerve repair and sports injuries. Dr. O’Hara focuses on restoring his patients to their optimal functional ability as quickly as possible.
