Always knew this restaurant was here just don't live close.. but.. found we were in the neighborhood on a Saturday at 4pm.. We headed to Gil's.. seated immediately (this place is huge)..menu...

Gil Morton opened Gil's Supper Club in 1962, later purchased by Dick Shelton in 1974. The current owner, Cindy Smith with the help of her sons Mike and Matt, also own and operate The Warehouse. We are a full-service restaurant located in the tranquil village of Hanna City. We have been serving Central Illinois since 1962 and are locally owned and operated. We offer free parking. We can accommodate any event up to 100 people. In-house event coordinators can plan every detail of your event. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary, birthday or don't need a reason to go out we are sure that you will enjoy your evening at Gil's Supper Club. So disappointed. Also sad for the long standing icon of a restaurant. Went to famous Wednesday nite chicken special. Not the number of patrons there I'm used to. No one waiting available tables....
