So it was a natural fit for me to go into medicine," says Dr. Umana. Dr. Umana is board certified in general surgery and will be focused on bariatric surgery to help patients achieve their weight loss goals through laparoscopic and robotic surgery."Patients will receive highly personalized and specialized care," says Dr. Umana. Elle Davis, MD, provides care with the Springfield Clinic’s Dermatology Department and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus West.Dr. Davis earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. She completed her dermatology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis."I always liked working with and helping people," says Dr. Davis. "In dermatology, you get the full experience with the patient and help them through their entire care process."Dr. Davis will be providing general dermatology medicine care addressing various skin issues including acne and eczema. She will also provide surgical care."I like to put my all into things and do what is right by the patient," says. Dr. Davis. Sanjay Bangarulingam, MD, received his medical degree from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute in Mysore, India. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Ill., followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va., and a fellowship in advanced therapeutic ERCP/EUS at GI Associates in Milwaukee, Wis.
