Dover Museum

The Dover Museum, located in New London, Iowa, was established through the collaborative efforts of community citizens and the Chamber of Commerce, officially forming the Dover Historical Society in 1995. This historical museum, housed in a brick building donated by Chester and Ila Coleman, aims to recognize and preserve the historical artifacts of New London and its surrounding areas. In 1996, the museum's structure was listed on the National Register of Historical Places, and the former New London Depot, which dated back to 1906, was moved to the location and restored in 2012.
