The purpose of Friends of the Viking Ship is to facilitate the preservation of the 1893 Viking Ship as an important artifact from the Columbian Exposition and to advocate its public display in a permanent museum setting with adequate security and climate control. As a part of this mission, Friends of the Viking Ship hosts a number of open days and private tours throughout the year. Make on of these tours part of your next visit to Geneva, IL.
