History

FoundRe has grown to from a small garage space to a large wood shop and studio with a variety of cliental, including some of Chicago's brightest entrepreneurs and restaurateurs. Foundre has even worked internationally with loyal clients in Europe and across the United States. We have done product design for many small retail stores as well has limited addition product fulfillment for big box retailers. We intend to remain a small independent company focused on hand-made quality reclaimed goods.

Specialties

Custom residential and commercial work. We create standard and custom reclaimed frames as well as a variety of furniture and home goods. Every piece of furniture or framing we create is treated like a work of art. We take pride in providing quality reclaimed furniture, with a focus on detail and design. The material we use is sourced locally from deconstruction projects in Chicago. We use primarily old growth lumber found in the original construction of many historic Chicago buildings. We love to create custom reclaimed furniture. It gives us the opportunity to explore creative design concepts and make truly one of a kind furniture pieces.
