History

FaithSlaker Music has been an active studio fostering performance, music education and music appreciation around the country since 2000, settling in Chicago in 2007.

FaithSlaker music assumes a holistic approach to teaching children that emphasizes a deep understanding and appreciation for music. This type of approach also provides children with a creative outlet, contributes to the development of a sense of responsibility and pride, and fosters poise and confidence. Meeting your child wherever he or she is and tailoring a method to their needs makes for a far more rewarding lesson for you as well as for your child. Incorporated in all lessons are theory, technique, composition, improvisation, and performing techniques. FaithSlaker Music offers piano lessons for all ages.
