Esperanza Community Services

Founded in 1969, Esperanza Community Services serves individuals with developmental disabilities from infancy to adulthood through programs in English and Spanish languages. It offers individualized therapeutic, educational and artistic services. The organization provides programs for emotional disturbances, behavior disorders, and autism and mental retardation issues. Esperanza Community Services offers special educational, adult day training, group home living, and client and family support services. It also provides behavior management and social work services, as well as speech, occupational and physical therapies for students. The organization offers a prevocational work activities program that provides instructions on various topics, including baking, woodworking, domestic and janitorial skills, and arts and crafts. Esperanza Community Services has a staff of more than 50 employees, including administrative and educational personnel, nurses, social workers and therapists.
