History

Erickson Decorating Products, Inc. was started in 1987 by John Erickson to service the paint and decorating needs of Chicago. Originally, on Peterson Avenue, the business moved to a bigger facility where it is now located at the corner of Peterson and Pulaski. As the business grew, a second location was open up to serve the additional hardwood flooring business in Bolingbrook, IL in 2002.

We are a Benjamin Moore Signature Paint Store that offers a clean, well lit store with products suitable for Do-it-Yourselfers, Builders, Contractors, Commercial Properties, and Realty Management Companies. Our store features Benjamin Moore's full paint chip color display, in addition to Moore's 2 Ounce Color Samples which allows you to see what the actual color looks like on your walls at home. We also distribute the finest quality hardwood flooring products in our stores, and through our website, onlinefloorstore.com We offer Prefinished Wood Floors from Monticello Flooring, Bellefloor, Sunfloor, and Aacer Flooring. Our Unfinished Wood Floors from around the globe are accented by the quality group of accessories that we have assembled from Bona, Basic Coatings, Duraseal, and many more. For flooring professionals, we are stocking equipment dealers for Lagler, Clarke American Sanders, Powernail, Festool, Fein, and ProTeam.
