Dr. Enrique Peralta, MD, is a board-certified vitreo-retinal surgeon in Godfrey, IL at Quantum Vision Centers. Dr. Peralta is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and has over 30 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry. He is a member of several ophthalmology professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Hossein Asghari specializes in surgical and medical management of complex corneal and cataract-related problems. He performs full thickness and partial thickness corneal transplant surgeries; amniotic membrane transplants for management of anterior segment disorders, such as ulcers or nonhealing defects; and cataract surgeries including those requiring special techniques, such as iris repair or lens suturing. In addition, Dr. Asghari treats diseases of the ocular surface caused by conditions such as GVHD and Steven Johnson's syndrome.
