History

The gallery was established to provide an alternative platform for creatives of different disciplines to display their work through carefully curated exhibitions and events while reaching equally diverse audiences. In addition, the gallery serves various communities, not only through it's exhibitions, but even more so, it's pop-up shops serving local vendors and designers, a recording studio and subterranean performance space where musicians come to hone their skills, and a slick sound lounge where music and art aficionados meet and discuss everything from trending topics to world history.

Specialties

This DIY gallery located in the Chicago Arts District pays homage to the culture of Hip-Hop; prizing the authentic, the crafty, the original and most important, community. We seek to honor the DJ, the MC, the dancer, street artists, street language, street knowledge and street entrepreneurialism, however all art forms are supported! elee.mosynary gallery is committed to creating a diverse environment and is a supporter of equal opportunity.
