El Niño Rey
El Niño Rey, founded in 1995 by Fr. Matthew Foley of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, is dedicated to alleviating poverty among the children of Quechultenango, Mexico, through education. With the support of generous donors, the organization currently assists over 800 children by providing educational funding and resources, aiming to break the cycle of poverty in their communities.
The initiative began as a response to the dire need for educational support after Fr. Foley's experiences serving in remote villages in Guerrero. El Niño Rey not only strives to improve literacy rates but also seeks to cultivate a generation of young leaders who will share their knowledge and skills with their communities.
