Alert Manufacturing, founded in 1959, is one of the largest suppliers of rubber, plastic and urethane products. Its engineered plastics division focuses on providing components for a variety of industries and utilizes a diverse combination of equipment and processes to produce both standard and tight-tolerance parts. Its manufacturing capabilities include die cutting, machining, extruding, water-jet cutting, slitting, laminating, assembly and screen printing. It provides custom-molded urethane, rubber and plastic parts in low-pressure, injection, compression and transfer-molded processes and specializes in computerized numerical control machined plastics. The extrusions offered include dual durometers and a variety of elastomer compounds. Its specialized services include heat curing and screen-printed logos, sewing, hardware and attachment assemblies, metal subcomponents and part kitting. Alert Manufacturing has offices in West Des Moines, Iowa, Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Lewisville, Texas.
