History
In 1995, the idea of an online record store is conceived by two Chicago crate diggers, on their way back from a massive buying trip -- stuck in a snowstorm in the mountains of Pennsylvania. View complete history at Dusty Groove's website.

Hard-to-find vinyl and CDs -- with thousands of different titles in stock every day, both new and used! We buy music from the public every day of the week -- from 11am to 6pm (store hours are 10am to 8pm) -- and we pay top dollar for unusual CDs and LPs in good condition. We add hundreds of new items on a daily basis -- and everything in the store can also be shopped online at dustygroove.com. Musically, we're strongest on Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Brazilian, and a wide range of Global styles -- but also carry unusual Rock, Folk, Vocals, Country, Soundtracks, Exotica, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, Gospel, Blues, and more. Heck, we've even got 78s and cassettes too -- plus a wide range of books, magazines, DVDs, and other music-related items.

It was alright, for a place called dusty it was the opposite, also staff did not seem punk rock.

I love this place. First time visit and they had a huge selection of new and used vinyl. I was able to find what I wanted for years. Definitely will have to go back.
