The DuSable Museum, founded fifty years ago by Charles and Margaret Burroughs, has grown from a small gallery to a prominent institution dedicated to preserving and sharing African American history. The recent addition of the Roundhouse expansion, a 61,000 square foot facility, will establish the museum as the first African American museum campus in the United States.
