DuPage County Convalescent Center

Located in DeKalb, Ill., the DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center has been operational since 1853 and is one of the oldest and largest health care providers in DeKalb County, Ill. It is a skilled nursing center that maintains more than 190 beds and its resident rooms feature private bathrooms and space for sitting and socializing. The rehab and nursing center works with the Social Services Department to ensure a comfortable adjustment to the facility, as well as to assist with issues that arise during residents stay. The DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center has an activity department that plans and schedules events and activities for residents on a monthly basis.

The Batavia Park District Civic Center houses the administrative offices of the Batavia Park District. Its facilities include a parking lot, full-size gymnasium, multipurpose room and several meeting rooms. The civic center also features the Bartholomew Room, which features a kitchenette, chairs and tables, as well as banquet space for more than 100 people. The Batavia Park District Civic Center s conference room includes a dry erase board and can accommodate over 25 people. Its gymnasium features wood flooring and basketball hoops. The Batavia Park District has been maintaining parks and recreational facilities for the community since 1969. The Batavia Park District Civic Center is located in Batavia, Ill.
