My husband and I went to the Dekalb Oasis on our way to Chicago. This rest area is not the cleanest but we made do. We were able to stretch our legs before continuing our trip.

Sbarro pizza.. foods been sitting for a long time... and flies on the food on display.... After seeing that, why bother with Panda or Subway... 93 degrees outside. Don't look to cool off much...

Seems a little outdated. Of course, gas at the oasis is higher than surrounding areas because you are paying for the convenience. Mall type food court if you are looking for a quick bite....
