Molly Lundy, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic’s Pediatrics Department. Dr. Lundy is a board-certified pediatrician who sees patients at Springfield Clinic Morton Pediatrics.“Besides being a mother, the only other thing I ever wanted to be was a pediatrician,” she says. “I was always drawn to pediatrics because children are always changing, and each family is unique. But they all share the same goal when it came to their child’s well-being, and I wanted to be a part of that.”Born and raised in Peoria, Dr. Lundy earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.“I enjoy having fun and making kids laugh while teaching them about their body and health,” Lundy says. “I also enjoy working with our team. Dr. Beaty is a board-certified pediatrician who sees patients at Springfield Clinic Morton Pediatrics.“Science has always been a passion of mine in school, and I enjoy getting to work with people. Those two passions came together to a career in medicine,” he says.A native of central Illinois, Dr. Beaty completed his undergraduate degree at Illinois Wesleyan University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and completed his pediatric residency at OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.Dr. Beaty’s scope of practice will include patients from birth through college, and his team focuses on providing a laid-back family and child-centered care experience.“When it comes to my job, I most enjoy my interactions with my patients and their families,” says Dr. Beaty.Dr. Beaty likes to be outdoors in his free time, primarily hunting and fishing.
