HistoryLakeview Pantry opened its doors in 1970 with the mission of providing food to those living below the poverty level. Today we not only distribute groceries, but also help clients address the issues that often lead to food insecurity, such as unemployment and housing instability. Lakeview Pantry is one of the longest-lived food pantries in Chicago.
